Dynamic Season and Live Run Descriptions
The NBA Live 10 features known as "Dynamic Season" and "Adidas Live Run" have been kept under wraps. While the full details of what they entail is still to come presumably via blogs and previews there were vague descriptions of them included in the demo. Week One Ratings Change Suggestions
With the opening to the NFL season now complete we can turn towards the roster update for Madden 10 that is expected to come out late this week. Of course it is very early and week one isn't necessarily indicative of performance throughout the entirety of the regular season. Madden Curse Strikes Early
In the NFL season opener, co-cover athlete for Madden 10 Troy Polamalu suffered what is currently being called an MCL sprain that will keep him out at least 3-6 weeks. This lead to the inevitable rush of Madden curse articles which has been the case for years now. Draft Combine Holds Up 2K10 Demo
The Draft Combine having presented somewhat of a quasi-demo experience would appear to have an effect on when the actual demo for NBA 2K10 will be released. 2K has thus far been vague about when the demo will be appear only stating that it will not be out "for a while". It is now down to the Final Four in the NCAA Football 11 Wishlist Tournament over at ncaaStrategies. Formation subs go up against custom playbooks and correct option blocking faces better offensive playbooks. NBA Live 10 Demo Impressions
The NBA Live 10 demo came out on Friday for the 360 and now having played enough of it I feel comfortable posting my impressions. The general response appears to be largely positive from browsing various forums and Twitter. August 09 Sales Numbers
The official sales for August were released yesterday offering the opportunity to analyze the sales of Madden 10. The 360 version sold 928,000 and the PS3 sold 665,000 for a total of 1.59 million copies. Compared to last year sales fell from 1.64 million. So with a drop of 50,000 copies representing 3% Madden held relatively strong compared to other recent releases.
