Wanting to get up a video displaying a full playoff game, I figured what better one to go for than game seven of the NBA Finals. The sim had the Blazers knotted up at 3-3 with the Celtics with the deciding game being played in Portland. This was played on All Star difficulty and is definitely the most entertaining from start to finish of any of the videos that I have posted to date. Continue on to check out the game stats and the video of the entire game broken down by quarter. As always ...

Yesterday the man in charge of the Madden 10 player ratings Donny Moore tweeted that this year the philosophy is results on the field will be what determines ratings changes with no excuses. It doesn't matter who the player is, if they aren't producing or if they are outdoing expectations they'll see their ratings move. With this in mind here are some potential changes to look for this week. Terrell Owens saw his play drop off last year and he has not produced for the Bills with only five...

Having spent a significant amount of time with NBA 2K10 over the last few days it felt like a good time to post some of my general impressions of the game thus far. Of course make sure to watch the videos I've posted to make your own judgments on some of the strengths and weaknesses. The demo will be out tomorrow for the 360 exclusively with the Magic @ Lakers in a single four minute quarter. From the way things have been explained it sounds like the PS3 won't see it until next Thursday. At ...

After the release of the first patch for Madden 10 it was discovered that a few problems had come out of it. I've received numerous emails regarding some specific oddities being seen however have yet to see anything along those lines myself. The main issue that was immediately noticeable was the changing of numbers located on the back of a couple team's helmets to blank squares. After sending an inquiry to EA regarding the numbers-to-squares issue I did receive a response back. This is be...

After getting up the full game Spurs @ Jazz matchup I wanted to offer a little more variety in the videos. Because they are recorded in HD it can take almost an entire day to capture, convert, upload, and process a full game's worth of vids. It becomes easier to do a quarter here and there rather than a a handful to do all at once. So here you can find a quarter of Wizards @ Knicks and Mavericks @ Warriors and the first half of Nets @ Bulls. The Nets @ Bulls matchup has the difficulty bum...
  • NHL 10 Plagued by Lag Issues

NHL 10 came off a year where pretty much everything worked properly at and following launch, even with the introduction of the EASHL. That has not been the case this year. Initially it was the freezing issues with the game. They may have alleviated some that were being seen after a server fix however they remain a problem for some. Now though, and seemingly more widespread, the EA Forums are littered with threads and I have received numerous accounts directly relating to severe lag online. ...

The fourth season of the highly acclaimed and immensely popular Showtime series Dexter began last night and it didn't waste any time introducing the main arc for the season. It will center around the "Trinity Killer", a man who has killed in sets of threes moving to a new city each time over the last 30 years. As is stated in the show, that makes him the most successful serial killer ever to have never been caught. "Trinity" is played by John Lithgow who certainly had the creepiness facto...
