There will be no roster update for Madden 10 this week. This is the first week that hasn't had an update since skipping the one that should have been completed following opening weekend. This is unfortunate because there have been some significant injuries, trades completed, and there are some players and teams that are definitely in need of adjustment. The next roster update is planned for Friday October 30th....

Two new videos have been released for NCAA Basketball 10 that focus on the motion offenses. One features the numerous different types of motion offenses with an example of a team that runs each. The other is a tutorial of sorts that explains how the motion offenses are run with the new play calling controls. I really had no idea what was going on in the first video but the second one helps bring it all together. The movement and variation in the different offenses appears to be the main ...

In what has become a yearly tradition a new Saw movie releases this weekend ahead of Halloween. However this time around it will face stiff competition from the low budget Paranormal Activity. The Saw franchise has seen opening weekend takes right above 30 million for each of the five sequels. Meanwhile Paranormal Activity made 20 million last weekend and will be doubling the number of screens it will be showing in as it finally goes wide. Saw VI will likely win this coming weekend but it wi...

2K Sports has announced the details of the first patch that is coming for NBA 2K10. With fundamental flaws such as poor framerate, online play still not even completely functional, and glitches in My Player mode this is a highly anticipated patch. The effectiveness of the patch will have to be evaluated after it is out because this is an extremely significant list. Having such core issues as concerns and expecting they will all have been addressed in two weeks time seems improbable. Patch...

Oftentimes a show may have middling ratings but because Nielson does not incorporate DVR'd showings into those numbers they have been forced to pull them them separately. Some shows and demographics get strong numbers from recorded viewings which are counted into DVR ratings as long as they are watched within one week of the original broadcast. Havin...
