IGN also has a quick Q&A regarding the home court advantage that will be included in the game which you can check out in its entirety here. IGN: If I select a school that's not on the top ten toughest places to play list for my dynasty, can I build them into such a powerhouse that they'll eventually make it...

The results are in and the Michael Jackson documentary This Is It has opened on Wednesday with 7.4 million. That number includes 2.2 million that it made on Tuesday night screenings. That puts This Is It on track to make in the range of 32-36 million over the opening five days. Industry expectations were all over the board. On the low side was around a 10 million opening day but that extended all the way up to some predictions of a five day take larger than that of The Dark Knight. While ...

Fox has released the first full trailer for Avatar. Reaction to the previous teaser was mixed however that isn't all that surprising considering it isn't being seen in 3D. The film is intended to be viewed in 3D theaters and the result is supposedly spectacular. Needless to say this new trailer will garner much stronger support. Written and directed by James Cameron and starring Sam Worthington, Avatar represents a work that was originally envisioned by Cameron in 1994 but the technology ...

Following the news on Steve Phillips last week I broached the question of what that meant for MLB 2K10. The commentary was probably the only redeeming quality from 2K9 and the duo of Gary Thorne and Phillips was made a big marketing point. After these developments it would appear that 2K would have no choice but to make a change. Still with only four months until release the opportunity to do so is limited and makes it a difficult task. Owen Good at Kotaku (and also featured on Deadspin) ...

As announced yesterday NBC will not be ordering any new episodes of the freshman show Trauma. The original pickup was for 13 episodes and those will air as planned. Trauma was easily the most expensive new program for NBC this year and despite decent ratings it wasn't enough to keep the show going. This move has led to speculation that Chuck will take over Trauma's Monday night at 9PM time slot and be coupled with Heroes. Six additional episodes of Chuck have also apparently been ordered ...
