12/4 Box Office Results
As expected The Blind Side and New Moon came in 1-2 at the box office on Friday. Achieving what very few movies do, The Blind Side will reach the top spot for the weekend for the first time while in its third week of release. It is on pace to make about $20 million with New Moon pulling in near $15 million. Of the four new releases Brothers had the strongest take and appears headed to about $10 million. The Line Drive 12/5/09
Madden Arcade topped the sales charts for the week of 11/23 on Xbox Live Arcade. That is an encouraging sign especially given its relatively high price for an arcade offering and that it was only out for five of the seven days. If it stays up near the top of the charts through December that would indicate significant success and likelihood that downloadable arcade style games would continue and expand in 2010. FlashForward Gone Until March
FlashForward has been having its issues which include ratings drops, complaints about the story progression from fans, and production shutdowns. It hit yet another series low in ratings last night. Despite this there was some hope with the writers having acknowledged the problems and promising that upcoming episodes would address them. Madden 10 Patch #2 for 360 Next Week
In a message sent out by senior producer Phil Frazier the status of the patch for the 360 version of Madden 10 has been provided. It is now targeted for release late next week. Second Patch for Madden 10 Now Available (PS3)
The long awaited patch #2 for Madden 10 has gone out for the PS3. As long as the console is connected online when starting up the game a prompt will automatically appear to download the update. While there is no specific date/time when it will arrive for the 360 that should happen sometime in the coming days when Microsoft clears it through certification. The first trailer for Brooklyn's Finest officially hit the net today. The movie presents the intertwining stories of three Brooklyn cops.
