EA Sports MMA Rumored for September
While an official release date for EA Sports MMA has not yet been revealed rumors are making their way out that it is headed for September. MiddleEasy has cited details from a European magazine that states the intention is to release in September along with some other new details on the game. That is much later than most would have anticipated considering how long it has been in development and the expectation that it would want to hit the market before UFC 2010 Undisputed.

Big Daddy from Kick-Ass Revealed
Last month the first trailer for Kick-Ass hit theaters. The reaction to it from those unfamiliar with the comic book wasn't overwhelming since it didn't really get across the R-rated and graphic nature that makes it unique. Buzz on the film is off the charts however. Just last week it was screened at BNAT along with other movies including Shutter Island and Avatar. Those two got hugely positive response but it was Kick-Ass named the big winner and discussion on Twitter about it has been spre...
EA Sports Facing Tough Decision on Tiger
Over a week ago I wrote my first take on the Tiger Woods situation. At the time it was basically just about infidelity and suspicious circumstances surrounding a car accident. Sponsors were sticking by him and public opinion, while down, was still in support of him as a sports figure. That all has spiraled down since with news that has worsened on a daily basis significantly changing perception. It now may just be a matter of time before EA Sports has to drop Tiger as the face of their golf ...
The Line Drive 12/13
At the VGAs on Saturday night it was NHL 10 taking the "Best Team Sports Game" and UFC 2009 Undisputed taking "Best Individual Sports Game". That represents the second straight win for NHL and a win for UFC in its debut year.
With UFC 2010 Undisputed releasing on May 25th I would expect EA Sports MMA to take advantage of that and release first. Early April would be a comfortable landing spot.
Rarely do I come across an article as ridiculous as this one. Amusing read just for h...

12/11 Weekend Box Office Results
As expected The Princess and the Frog captured the top spot at the box office this weekend. It was able to make $25 million which is right about in line with expectations. The Disney film appealed primarily to females and didn't have the benefit of being in 3D. It knocked The Blind Side out of #1 but that movie continues to drop at an astonishingly slow pace down only 22% from last weekend for $15 million more. It has now made $150 million since release.
The other new entry was Invictus w...
UFC 2010 Undisputed Trailer
THQ unveiled the trailer for UFC 2010 Undisputed earlier this evening at the VGAs. It was introduced by Kimbo Slice and he is also seen in the footage. The general consensus seems to be that the clips of UFC 2010 look nearly identical to the previous version. The exception might be the glimpse of a fighter being pushed into the cage which wasn't utilized in 2009. On a year-to-year basis many wouldn't expect to see revolutionary advancements but coming off the first attempt the expectations h...
