NBC Moving Leno Back to 11:30
TMZ is reporting that NBC will be moving Jay Leno back to 11:30 meaning that Conan O'Brien may be on the way out. This will take place after the Winter Olympics in February. Apparently right now it is unknown whether Leno's show will be the typical hour or if it will be a half hour. It if is the latter it is possible it would then be followed by Conan. However this could open up the possibility of Conan leaving and finding a show on a different network

Survivor Heroes vs Villains Cast List
CBS has officially unveiled the roster for Survivor: Heroes vs Villains. While the list of participants was leaked a while back they just made public all 20 who are taking part. The first All-Stars season was considered by many to be disappointing but early buzz on Heroes vs Villains is that it could end up being considered as one of the best seasons.

The Delayed DVD Rental Period Has Arrived
Not long ago I wrote about a proposal that was being considered where DVDs would release "for sale only" for a period of time before they would become available for rental. The first step in this becoming the norm arrived today and is expected to represent just the start of things to come.
Netflix has announced an agreement with Warner Brothers that will have them holding back their releases for 28 days before making them available to subscribers. In exchange WB will be providing increased ...
Sam Mendes May Direct Bond 23
While Quantum of Solace was a big success financially it was seen as somewhat of a disappointment by moviegoers. There was definitely less enthusiasm than had come out of Casino Royale, which was likely more responsible for Quantum's success than how good the movie was. That basically sealed the fate of director Marc Forster and led to speculation as to who would take over the franchise.
The name that has now come up is somewhat surprising. Sam Mendes, who is very highly regarded but has ne...
