The movie follows the character of Aldous Snow (Russell Brand) as he is transported from London to the Greek Theater in LA by a record company intern (Jonah Hill). Some others to appear in the movie include Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs, Aziz Ansari, Katy Perry and Pink. Nicholas Stoller returns from Marshall to direct and Judd Apatow produces. When the final roster update for Madden 10 was released one change caught everyone by surprise. Players who had retired in the time between the end of their season and when the update arrived were removed, most notable of them being Kurt Warner. Upon discovering this I posted the article on the subject and hoped to get a comment on why the action was taken. As far as I know their removal represented the only time that off-season transactions were made in the game for a season that had just com...

SCEA has released another new blog for MLB 10: The Show this time detailing the real time presentation that has been added for this year. Rather than just talk about the concept behind it they've done something interesting by creating a video that shows via picture-in-picture what is seen while playing the game up against the live production camera that is used for this presentation style. From the pitcher toeing the rubber until the next batter walks up to the dish, you’ll experience...

It was just a matter of time until EA Sports confirmed the cancellation of the NCAA Basketball franchise. On Monday I outlined all the indications that resulted in the conclusion that the series would not continue past this last release of NCAA Basketball 10. EA has now made a statement to Game Informer to put whatever question remained about its status to rest. We do not have an NCAA Basketball game in development at this time, and we’re currently reviewing the future of our NCAA Bask...

It has been discussed for years but now it finally looks like it is going to happen. A movie continuation of the hit TV show 24 is actively in development. Screenwriter Billy Ray has been hired by Fox to work on the project. He has written some good thrillers including Breach, Flightplan and State of Play. The movie will find Jack Bauer overseas in Europe for the first time. One point of contention about a possible film has always been whether it would keep the real-time format and just run...
