    The Journey story mode, played by over 12 million people last year, naturally received a strong push for its sequel in FIFA 18 earlier at EA Play and it's getting another now. A large cast of soccer greats cameo or play larger roles as Alex Hunter experiences the challenges that now come with being a star. Those names include FIFA 18's cover athlete Cristiano Ronaldo and even crossing over is the cover athlete for NBA Live 18 James Harden.  (more…)...
  • Open world setting for MyPlayer characters coming with NBA 2K18

    2K Sports today revealed the new open world structure for NBA 2K18 in which MyPlayers will reside. In a sense it's reminiscent of Take Two's (parent company of 2K Sports) own GTA Online, as the neighborhood connects NBA 2K modes that previously were isolated on their own - MyCareer, The Park, and 2K Pro-Am along with actual storefronts for player customization. ...

    Despite the release of NBA 2K18 being just two weeks away it took until today for anything about the Nintendo Switch version to be described or shown off by 2K Sports. Thankfully the news is good as the game will offer the very same feature set and engine found on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The only disadvantages to be found relates to the visuals - to be expected given the difference in power between the systems - and also lower framerate. (more…)...
  • PES 2018 demo is out now

    The demo for Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 is now available to download - it can be queued up here for PlayStation 4 and here for Xbox One. Following last month's online beta, which was intended primarily to test the online performance tied to both the new co-op mode which features three users on each side and the standard head-to-head matches, the demo features gameplay more representative of what will be featured in the final product.     2K Sports has now revealed the top rated players by position for NBA 2K18 and there is some movement of note from the end of last season within the rankings. LeBron James is of course still the highest rated active player in the league at 97 Overall, followed closely behind by Kevin Durant and James Harden.     Last year in NBA 2K17 the pool of contributing voices during and around the games expanded to 11. The booth consisted of Kevin Harlan and a group of rotating analysts that included Chris Webber, Steve Smith, Doris Burke, Brent Barry, Greg Anthony, and Clark Kellogg. Sideline reporting was handled by David Aldridge and the Inside the NBA crew Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kenny Smith held down the studio show.
