MLB 2K10 Gameplay and My Player Videos
As I continue to play the new baseball titles and collect general and online impressions I’ve also recorded some videos from MLB 2K10 that I figured would be worth posting up. In this group of videos there are two focusing on gameplay, one with the first inning of Padres @ Diamondbacks and the other an inning of Astros @ Pirates. Teaser Trailer for Legend of the Guardians
The first trailer for the computer animated adaptation Legend of the Guardians has been released. Based on the first three books in the best selling series by Kathryn Lasky (The Capture, The Journey, and The Rescue) Legend of the Guardians is being made by the same people behind 300 and Happy Feet. Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen) directs while Hugo Weaving, Sam Neill, Geoffrey Rush, and Helen Miren are amongst those who have provided the voice acting for the film. Disney May Be Planning Ant-Man Movie
Slashfilm has discovered that Disney, who owns the rights to the Marvel properties, has purchased a domain for a possible Ant-Man movie. As they state, generally domains are bought because something is being developed. With the NFL Combine out of the way (and reports on each position posted in the NFL Draft section) this mock draft incorporates changes based off performances or any other recent developments. MLB 2K10 Online Play Troubles
I've been looking forward to testing out the online play for the new baseball titles given that they have struggled performance wise in the past. MLB 2K9 actually ran relatively well online so I had hope that would be the case again this year but issues abound already for MLB 2K10. (more…)...

NHL 2K Series Hiatus Confirmed
Back in December I broke the story that 2K Sports was likely benching the NHL 2K franchise. The company did not confirm that was the case at the time but they continued to let the rumors swirl which was indication enough that the series was being put to a halt. Today 2K Sports confirmed (via Kotaku) that there will be no NHL 2K11 for the 360 and PS3 but they may return for 2K12.
