Backbreaker Release Date Questions Return
Despite Backbreaker having a history of release date shifting it finally appeared to have settled into May 25th. With that approaching there are now signs that it may not be hitting that date. Amazon, Gamefly, and Walmart have shifted the release to June 1st. Gamestop, usually the first indicator of a release date change, still has it slated for 5/25. Conan O’Brien Headed to TBS
The assumption has always been that somehow Conan O'Brien would end up at Fox. Sure there were multiple complications involved with that but the match seemed made in heaven. Other options out there such as Starz, Showtime, or Comedy Central never felt all that realistic in comparison. Date Night Pulls Off Slim Box Office Victory
It was expected to be a close race at the box office this weekend and that is exactly what we got. The Steve Carell-Tina Fey comedy Date Night squeaked out a first place finish with a little over $27 million. Wide spread appeal to both males and females provided strength and both Carell and Fey have delivered solid openings in the past. Santonio Holmes Traded to Jets
For the second consecutive Sunday a big trade has gone down. It isn't very often that Super Bowl MVP's are traded, but when they are they generally fetch better than what the Steelers have obtained in exchange for Santonio Holmes. Holmes has been traded to the New York Jets for a fifth round pick (151st) in this year's draft.
