In the process of promoting his upcoming film Robin Hood, Ridley Scott has revealed a few details on his plans for the prequel to Alien which he is currently working towards beginning production on. To pretty much no one's surprise the movie will be in 3D. It will be filmed with 3D cameras however and not converted in the post-production process. That is encouraging, as being shot in 3D is vastly preferable to being converted in the post-production process. The movie can also be made with 3...

With the first three rounds in the books go ahead and sound-off on what you think of the NFL Draft so far! The teams getting the most praise overall seem to be the Seahawks, Lions, and 49ers with others like the Browns, Cowboys, and Panthers being praised especially for particular picks. The big developments over the first few days had to do primarily with QBs as Tim Tebow went in the first round but Jimmy Clausen slipped to the second and Colt McCoy to the third. Make sure to check the Madden...

The highest grossing movie of all-time has now also captured the title of fasting selling Blu-ray in history. Avatar sold 1.5 million copies on its first day of release breaking the record previously held by The Dark Knight. The movie hit stores yesterday with an unorthodox plan of coming out on a Thursday to coincide with Earth Day. It also offered absolutely nothing in the way of extras in an effort to maximize the disc space and provide the best quality video and audio possible. Early re...

A few days ago EA Sports revealed the cover for the PS3 version of NCAA Football 11. The cover athlete Tim Tebow is being featured with unique box art on each system. Now the 360 version has been released and for anyone who is not a Tebow fan it is the far more obnoxious one of the two. The PS3 version appears to be representing him as a fullback and this one goes for his role as a cheerleader from the sidelines, so maybe they are actually on to something? Continue on to check out the full siz...

Last weekend it was Kick-Ass finishing atop the box office. This time around another comic adaptation, The Losers, hopes to grab the crown. The other new entry is the Jennifer Lopez romantic comedy The Back-Up Plan. The Losers focuses on a CIA special-ops team that are set up and left for dead, they then work to enact revenge on the man responsible. Make sure to check out my review here. The cast is full of strong personalities, most notably Chris Evans, but there are no standout names that...

When online co-op was delivered last year, with two users able to connect together and face the CPU, that was intended somewhat as a bridge to an Online Team Play mode that was to come. That will be delivered in Madden 11 as Gamestop has posted a listing of features which includes the mention of 3v3 Online Team Play. This is likely what is being referred to in the trailer as what will "reinvent the way you play football online". (more…)...
