EA Sports has released the first screenshot for NHL 11 and teased a major upgrade along with it. NHL 11 will include a brand new real-time physics engine. The screenshot is meant to demonstrate that and also includes another new element of the game with a broken stick visible in the background....

Dreamworks in conjunction with Paramount has released the first full theatrical trailer for the animated film Megamind. Featuring the voices of Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt, Tina Fey, and Jonah Hill the movie is a satirical take on the superhero genre with a battle between a supervillain and his arch-nemesis. To be released in 3D, Dreamworks has a good track-record in that area with Monsters vs Aliens and How To Train Your Dragon regarded as the best looking animated 3D films out so far. Megamind i...

Earlier this week word started leaking out that THQ would be including a unique one-time use code in new copies of UFC 2010 Undisputed. This code provides access to all online play functionality. If a used copy of the game is bought or if the game is rented, one would have to purchase a code through the marketplace. THQ still has not commented even on the existence of this code program, which means amongst other details we are still left to wonder if there is any sort of trial period like E...

While there has been talk recently about the ever-growing cast list for Transformers 3 it looks like one of the main players from the franchise has been cut out. Deadline is reporting that the option to bring back Megan Fox will be passed over and she will not appear in the film. It is now expected a new romantic interest for Sam Witwicky (Shia LeBeouf) will be introduced. While Fox was incredibly appealing in Transformers she became more of an annoyance in the sequel as moviegoers started ...

The first reviews for UFC 2010 Undisputed are starting to roll in and they heaping praise on the game. Official Playstation Magazine has given it a 9/10 while GamePro has awarded it a perfect 5/5. Clearly it looks like UFC 2010 is going over well and is likely headed towards getting high scores across the board. Given the great response to the demo and publicized improvements and additions that shouldn't a surprise. What is irksome about these reviews is that they did not do any evaluation ...

Maybe the first good indicator in some time for Backbreaker as the demo has cleared approval with Microsoft and Sony. That likely means it will be out next Tuesday. All along the importance of the demo has been stressed for the game and though a week before release isn't ideal it would seem to be enough to allow judgments to be made on the game. Ironically if it does hit on Tuesday it will be up against the release day of UFC 2010 Undisputed. UFC debuted last year and used its demo to prope...

EA Sports has released a new blog, the first in a series of three, that goes over improvements to Dynasty mode in NCAA Football 11. This one touches on the "phone call" aspect of recruiting and contains some screenshots from that area of the game. Check out the full posting here. One of the areas we felt would add the most to the Dynasty experience was a new Phone Call with recruits. The goal was to make each call more fun, a lot faster, and just a better experience all around. Much of the...
