Entertainment Weekly has broken the news that Julia Stiles is in final talks to join the cast of Dexter for its fifth season. The role is being described as top secret though we know it will not be as a "big bad" given that there will be no central villain that Dexter has to deal with over the string of episodes. In season three the "big bad" was played by Jimmy Smits and last season it was John Lithgow. Both performances were fantastic and paid off big but Dexter is going a different directio...

Continue on for some of my thoughts on Backbreaker so far! (more…)...

E Online is reporting on a rumor that ABC is talking about the idea of rebooting Alias. The JJ Abrams series ran on the network for five seasons from 2001-2006. It is unknown whether Abrams would be involved given he is in the midst of launching his new series Undercovers for NBC. The thinking is that a new Alias could fill an audience void which looms large now that Lost has concluded. The network failed to deliver with either FlashForward (canceled) or V (disappointed) which were regarded as...

With shooting planned to begin late next month the casting for Captain America is beginning to round out. The latest addition is Tommy Lee Jones though the part he will play is still uncertain. Speculation has been that he will take on the role of General Chester Philips who is the military officer that chooses Steve Rogers for the super-soldier program. He certainly would have the look and presence for the part of a General. He joins Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America), Sebastian Stan ...

While issues with pretty much everything connected to online for UFC 2010 Undisputed continue (and in some ways having even gotten worse so more to come on that) there has been increased chatter on the code redemption process that has been instituted to provide access to online play. Kotaku had a great article about this last night which went into some of the big concerns and prompted a response from THQ. The bottom line is that the program was not communicated well and in turn the perception ...
