So far most of the discussion around Transformers 3 has been centered on the casting. However in a new interview Michael Bay has laid out some expectations for the upcoming film. Among them: The movie will be in 3D. It isn't specified if it will be filmed in 3D or converted in post. This will end Transformers as a trilogy. Shockwave is the lead villain. Features the space race between Russia and USA. Less sophomoric humor. Hopefully that means less humping dogs....

The NCAA Football 11 demo is now available to download on the 360 and should be arriving sometime today on the PS3. The demo includes four matchups with Ohio State @ Miami, Florida @ Florida State, Clemson @ Missouri, and Oklahoma @ Texas with two minute quarters. Playing each matchup unlocks the Pro Combat uniforms for use in the full game. Sharing the demo will also unlock three more team's uniforms. Given that I'm in LA for E3 I'm counting on everyone out there to post impressions in th...

It ended up being a knockout as The Karate Kid exceeded all expectations and The A-Team came in closer to the level pre-release tracking indicated it would. Both reboots were questioned along the way but seem to have pleased audiences despite mixed reviews. Industry expectations had The Karate Kid and The A-Team finishing with around $30 million each. ...

  • Pay for Boosts in Madden 11 OTP

Earlier today a posting went up with some details on and video of the Online Team Play mode for Madden 11. I was less than thrilled by the structure and that was before finding out about this. While users can earn attribute boosts through various achievements that apply to the players they control they can also be bought. The idea of providing rewards based on performance is a solid one, however once again by allowing some to just buy them it creates a balance issue and gives an unfair edge...
