Another Patch Coming for Madden 11
As mentioned on Twitter today by the art director for Madden 11 the game will be receiving a fourth patch with a targeted release in November. Art related updates will include the Vikings receiving jerseys with their 50th anniversary patch, a Saints jersey with a Super Bowl patch, and the Redskins home and away uniform combos. Two horror films hurt each other's potential while a likely awards season contender sailed to first place at the box office this weekend. EA Sports Adding Content to NBA Jam HD
According to NBA Jam creative director Trey Smith efforts are being made to add new content into the HD version of the game now that it is free of its ties to NBA Elite 11. The info comes from a Toronto radio show interview as relayed via Neogaf. There was really no "complete" version of NBA Jam as the Wii version (releasing tomorrow) does not include online play and the downloadable HD versions were to miss out on the "Remix" mode. It is extremely rare that a game gets delayed as close to its scheduled release as happened with NBA Elite 11. The decision seemed to come down at the very last minute, just eight days before it was set to hit store shelves. The second casualty of the fall TV season is the ABC drama My Generation. After only two episodes the network has removed it from the schedule but has not announced what will replace it at 8pm on Thursday nights.
