Kinect Sports Impressions
While my overall thoughts on the Kinect system have been surprisingly positive, when it comes to software there have been some very good games that take advantage of the technology and some disappointing ones. Kinect Sports quickly became my favorite game and over the last two weeks that feeling has not worn off. There are a couple very fun and addictive sports included along with a deep set of features including online play and Facebook tie-in "leagues". (more…)...

Madden 11 Roster Update #13 Details
The post NFL week 11 roster update for Madden 11 is set to arrive as usual on Friday. This update will be most notable for the boost given to Michael Vick after his amazing performance on Monday Night Football and his continued success throughout the season. Vick has received a six point increase and will now be a 93 overall. Madden 11 Sales Now Struggling
Last year Madden 10 came out relatively weak early on and then showed great strength through the holidays providing a year-over-year increase from Madden 09. That development was based largely on very good word of mouth. Madden 11 initially broke out of the gate with a 12% increase in first month sales. Trailer for Cowboys & Aliens
A teaser trailer for the comic book adaptation Cowboys & Aliens has arrived. The sci-fi western deals with an alien invasion that forces the opposing sides of Cowboys and Indians to come together in an effort to fight them off. The movie stars Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde, and Sam Rockwell and is directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man). Cowboys & Aliens is slated to release on July 29th 2011. ...

Trailer for Green Lantern
The first trailer for Green Lantern has made its way out in advance of playing in front of screens showing Harry Potter which opens on Friday. The comic adaptation centers on Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds), a test pilot who is given a ring that provides him powers as well as his entry into an intergalactic squadron tasked with policing the universe. NBA 2K11 Tops October Sales

Your Thoughts on NBA Jam
NBA Jam for the 360 and PS3 came out today and offers everything found in the Wii version that released last month but adds in the enhanced graphics and online functionality. The HD version of NBA Jam also includes an expanded menu of online modes which are delivered via patch at start-up such as online co-op, a rank-up system, and "Remix". First Trailer for Cars 2
The first trailer for Pixar's Cars 2 has now been released. Despite being considered one of the weakest of Pixar's crop of films the original Cars went on to make $244 million domestically and $460 million total worldwide.
