A patch for EA Sports MMA is now available for both the 360 and the PS3. The patch attempts to enhance the gameplay experience by working on some balance issues as well as delivering a few other changes.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 Starts Strong With Midnight Shows
While it didn't turn out to be record breaking as some were anticipating, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 turned in the highest gross for the series from the opening midnight showings. The movie made $24 million which places it third highest in history behind just Twilight: Eclipse and Twilight: New Moon.

Backbreaker 2 Coming to iPhone
A sequel to the Backbreaker "Tackle Alley" game for mobile devices is in the works. Backbreaker 2: Vengeance is set to release in December for the iPhone and iPod touch with plans to reach other mobile platforms such as Android. The original Backbreaker iPhone app was downloaded over three million times.

The nominees for the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards were recently announced. Though the VGAs are not really taken all that seriously by gamers they are the awards that get the most publicity due to the show airing on cable channel Spike along with heavy promotion and upcoming game trailer reveals. NBA Jam Hard Drive Evaluation
Continuing with the series of Xbox 360 hard drive installation evaluations I've gone through and compared several areas of NBA Jam based on loading times from the disk vs the hard drive. Superman To Cast Relative Unknown
The search is on for the next actor to play Superman in the upcoming reboot. According to Deadline the studio is looking for an actor in the 28-32 age range that is either an unknown or comes from television. As of now the only name confirmed to be in the running is Joe Manganiello (True Blood) who stated he is being considered. The studio is expected to look at hundreds of actors however before making a decision.

UFC Undisputed Now Available for iPhone
UFC Undisputed 2010 is available now for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad for $6.99. The game includes a roster of 25 fighters split over five weight classes, exhibition and tournament modes, social networking integration, and access to real-life UFC news. Expansion packs delivering additional fighters are expected to arrive beginning in December.
