A good arcade style game can provide great entertainment value and act as a much needed change of pace. In the past few years games such as The BIGS, Blitz: The League, NBA Street, and Madden Arcade have found their way into the end of year lists. 2010 however was a down year for the arcade game, and almost by default NBA Jam claims the #10 spot in the countdown. Trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean 4
Disney has released the first trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Why Some Boxers Are Missing From Fight Night Champion
When the roster of 54 boxers was released last week much of the reaction focused on names that weren't included. Of course every boxer has to be signed to their own deal which is a difficult and time consuming process. Madden 11: Top Sports Game in November
Last year Madden 10 was the top sports game in November and the series has traditionally done well over the holidays. However given the huge sales boost that NBA 2K11 received the expectation was that game would maintain its lead. Despite NBA 2K11 doubling its opening month sales in October and finishing in first place it fell to ninth in November while Madden 11 landed in fourth. (more…)...
