    The "Party Pack" released today as downloadable content for Kinect Sports has added in six new mini-games. A patch is available now and then by accessing the Xbox Live Marketplace from within the mini-games section of Kinect the "Party Pack" is found there to download. Best of all the DLC is completely free. There is one new mini-game for each category of Soccer, Bowling, Track and Field, Boxing, Beach Volleyball, and Table Tennis.     Word comes today from Vulture that Jon Favreau has opted to turn down directing Iron Man 3 and that Marvel has started the process of finding a replacement. Keep in mind though the potential that leaking the news is being used as a negotiating tactic and the two sides could reach a deal even if there are disagreements currently.     The first trailer for Fast Five has arrived. The fifth entry in the Fast and the Furious franchise finds many of the main characters back again and joined by Dwayne Johnson as a federal agent trying to track them down in Rio de Janeiro.     Joe Mauer will stay on as the cover athlete of the MLB: The Show franchise. The Minnesota Twins catcher did not have the same great statistical season in 2010 coming off his MVP winning year but still finished eighth in MVP voting and helped the Twins to the AL Central championship.     Week 14 of the NFL season featured some miserable QB play, the end of Brett Favre's streak and possibly career, and a number of big performances.     This morning the nominations for the 2010 Golden Globes were revealed, with the show taking place January 16 and hosted by Ricky Gervais. The King's Speech surprisingly received the most movie nominations ahead of The Fighter and The Social Network. True Grit was stunningly shut out as was Hereafter. Glee leads television series nominations with five and a handful of shows fall next in line with three.     In a surprise development free agent pitcher Cliff Lee has spurned both the Yankees and the Rangers and has signed with the Philadelphia Phillies. Lee played part of 2009 with the team helping lead them to the World Series and then was traded away in the offseason to make room for Roy Halladay. One year later and he will be joining him there.     One of the few surprise reveals at the VGAs over the weekend came as Forza Motorsport 4 debuted a teaser trailer and a release date frame of fall 2011. While short on actual details it is known that the game will feature Top Gear as well as the option of utilizing Kinect. (more…)...
