The free-to-play EA Sports PGA Tour Golf Challenge has gone live on Facebook. Unlike the other Facebook games from the company, PGA Tour offers real-time 3D gameplay rather than just being about strategy and simulations. Earning XP can lead to customizing and improving the character, new courses, clubs, and other items. There are six full courses to play: Pebble Beach Golf Links, St Andrews (The Old Course), TPC Sawgrass, Wolf Creek, Banff Springs, and the fantasy course Emerald Dragon. You...

One area of the Fight Night series that has always created a great deal of discussion has been in relation to fatigue and in particular the spamming of punches. Operation Sports has posted up a new video for Fight Night Champion that takes a look at significant improvements to the area and how it is specifically being handled in the game. In Fight Night Champion there will be four stamina meters that are based on different areas of the body rather than just a single one. There will also be ...

The roster update for Madden 11 this week will be the first since week 15 of the NFL season and is expected to encompass a wider evaluation on the season rather than just looking the developments at the end. This will probably be the biggest one remaining as the rest will concentrate on the playoffs and return players from the IR following the Super Bowl. How about Tramon Williams and James Starks for the Packers? A bunch of Seahawks played at a level unseen this season with Marshawn Lynch ...

In a somewhat surprising announcement today Oregon State running back Jacquizz Rodgers has decided he will enter the NFL Draft. Rodgers finishes his career as the school's second leading rusher all-time with 3877 yards, 46 TDs, and 19 games where he went for over 100 yards. He is also a very good receiver having caught 151 passes. The only concern is his size and durability at the next level. Rodgers could be compared to Dexter McCluster who was a running back coming out of college but tran...

Sunday was a big night for premieres as NBC debuted The Cape, Fox rolled out a new animated series Bob's Burgers, and Showtime kicked off Shameless and Episodes along with the fourth season of Californication. The superhero themed series The Cape drew decent ratings with 8.6 million viewers and a 2.6 18-49 rating. Those numbers aren't great but for struggling NBC it is a good showing. Also encouraging is that the numbers were stable throughout the two hours which could be an indication that...

True Grit was able to overtake Little Fockers for the top spot at the box office this weekend. The only new release, Season of the Witch, came in third with a decent result considering how poorly the film is being received. The Coen Bros. western remake of True Grit came in #1 after two weeks of being the runner-up and in the process has crossed the $100 million mark. With $15 million this weekend it now sits at a total of $110 million. Budgeted at just $38 million the film becoming a mains...
