EA Sports PGA Tour Golf Challenge Launches
The free-to-play EA Sports PGA Tour Golf Challenge has gone live on Facebook. Unlike the other Facebook games from the company, PGA Tour offers real-time 3D gameplay rather than just being about strategy and simulations. Earning XP can lead to customizing and improving the character, new courses, clubs, and other items. Jacquizz Rodgers Declares for NFL Draft
In a somewhat surprising announcement today Oregon State running back Jacquizz Rodgers has decided he will enter the NFL Draft. Rodgers finishes his career as the school's second leading rusher all-time with 3877 yards, 46 TDs, and 19 games where he went for over 100 yards. He is also a very good receiver having caught 151 passes. The only concern is his size and durability at the next level. Ratings News for Sunday 1/9 Premieres
Sunday was a big night for premieres as NBC debuted The Cape, Fox rolled out a new animated series Bob's Burgers, and Showtime kicked off Shameless and Episodes along with the fourth season of Californication. The superhero themed series The Cape drew decent ratings with 8.6 million viewers and a 2.6 18-49 rating. Those numbers aren't great but for struggling NBC it is a good showing. True Grit Continues Impressive Run
True Grit was able to overtake Little Fockers for the top spot at the box office this weekend. The only new release, Season of the Witch, came in third with a decent result considering how poorly the film is being received. The Coen Bros. western remake of True Grit came in #1 after two weeks of being the runner-up and in the process has crossed the $100 million mark.
