    Despite a solid marketing push and great buzz the new FX series Lights Out debuted to disappointing ratings. The premiere brought in just 1.5 million viewers and a 0.6 18-49 rating. Combined with encore showings Lights Out totaled 2.4 million viewers for the evening. FX recently canceled the widely championed but low rated Terriers after its first season.     It has been a while since hearing anything about Supremacy MMA, a violent take on the sport from 505 Games and developer Kung Fu Factory which produced the first UFC game that was released on the Dreamcast back in 2000.     Here is first image of Rooney Mara as hacker Lisbeth Salander in the adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Mara beat out some big names for the role which was highly sought after. The film is being directed by David Fincher and also stars Daniel Craig as journalist Mikael Blomkvist.     Yesterday marked the launch of EA Sports PGA Tour Golf Challenge on Facebook. Another in the line of free-to-play but microtransaction based games, Golf Challenge delivers advancement in the form of real-time 3D gameplay.     A new full-length trailer for the intense action movie Battle: Los Angeles has arrived. The film stars Aaron Eckhart and Michelle Rodriguez and centers on a marine platoon attempting to fend off an alien invasion in LA. It takes on a very focused perspective being up close and personal with just that single platoon in one city in what is a much wider scale invasion taking place. Battle: Los Angeles is slated to release on March 11th. ...

    It may be predictable but it is deserving. NBA 2K11 comes out on top of the best sports games of 2010 countdown having delivered on a complete experience and advancing the series from the premiere basketball title to a place in the cultural mainstream. (more…)...

    After numerous delays due to MGM's bankruptcy and potential sale, and concerns that the project may never even happen or by the time it did the principal parties involved would have moved on, today the company announced Bond 23 is slated to go into production late this year. Despite the delays Sam Mendes is still attached to direct the film and Daniel Craig remains in the starring role as James Bond. A release date of November 9th 2012 has been confirmed.     Back in early October the Fox comedy Raising Hope became the first new series of the fall to get a full season order. Now Raising Hope is the first to get renewed for a second season. The series centers on a young guy that gets stuck with a baby and his somewhat dysfunctional family that helps him out. It is the highest rated new show for Fox averaging a 3.0 18-49 rating.
