    It looks like 2K Sports has a new arcade-style MLB game to announce in the near future for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The ESRB has revealed the existence of the game by giving it an "Everyone" rating. 2K has previously released several secondary MLB titles in an attempt to take full advantage of having the third party license.     Last week's roster update for Madden 11 cleaned up some of the players that had been off considering performance over the course of the full season and also returned some from injury.     Starz has announced they have officially cast Australian actor Liam McIntyre in the role of Spartacus for season two. He replaces Andy Whitfield as he continues treatment for non-hodgkin's lymphoma which has prevented him from returning to the show. Spartacus was a breakout hit for the network, and season two was put on hold until the decision was made to re-cast. Production is expected to start this spring and will likely premiere next January.     There have been a number of images officially released by Marvel showing off different characters in the upcoming Captain America including Chris Evans as Steve Rogers.     2K Sports has confirmed that there will be no further patching of NBA 2K11. Yesterday what we now know to represent the final patch was released and delivered 3D capability along with fixing an issue causing disconnects in unranked online games. That followed up the one gameplay and feedback related patch that arrived in November.     Though the Golden Globes had some very questionable nominations for the most part there were few surprises when it came to the winners. It was The Social Network coming away with the big prize of Best Drama as well as Best Director, Screenplay, and Score. It now looks to be the clear front-runner for the Best Picture Oscar though it could face a challenge from True Grit.   • The Green Hornet Cruises to MLK Weekend Box Office Victory

    Though it wasn't a spectacular opening weekend take The Green Hornet turned in results in line with expectations. The film was able to make $34 million for the three days and is expected to cross $40 million over the four day holiday weekend. The Green Hornet becomes the third highest opener in January history, trailing just Cloverfield and the 1997 re-release of Star Wars. Sony did their best to make the film feel like a summer blockbuster with a heavy marketing push. Reviews were mixed...
