Sony has announced that the upcoming reboot of Spider-Man will go by the official title of The Amazing Spider-Man. They have also released a new promo shot of Andrew Garfield in the full costume including the mask for the first time. Miramax today announced Don't Be Afraid of the Dark will release nationwide on August 12th. The horror film was originally slated to hit theaters early this year but was put on hold during the process of Disney selling off the Miramax division.
