MLB 11 Franchise Mode Bug To Be Addressed
Yesterday it was discovered that a major bug is present in MLB 11: The Show's Franchise mode, one that is practically identical to a bug in MLB 10 that plagued the mode as well. MLB 2K11 Quick First Day Impressions
Given that 2K Sports didn't send out copies to reviewers prerelease, something that is typically a very bad sign for major titles, I thought it important to get up some early thoughts on the game for those who may be on the fence. Continuing with the series of Xbox 360 hard drive installation evaluations I've gone through and compared several areas of MLB 2K11 based on loading times from the disk vs the hard drive. MLB 2K11 Perfect Game Rules
It may have come late but 2K Sports has finally posted the official rules and guidelines for the MLB 2K11 $1 Million Perfect Game Contest therefore meeting what was likely a legal obligation to do so. The rules appear to be largely similar to last year, though the age requirement has been dropped to 13. The contest will officially open up on April 1st at noon eastern. First Roster Update for MLB 11: The Show
SCEA has delivered the opening day roster update for MLB 11: The Show. The update includes 156 changes with the most significant moves cited in the image above. For those of you without an online-connected PS3 I've gone ahead and prepared the file. You can download the file directly from here , unpack, and then transfer the folder to the console. It will then appear in the saves within the game where it can be loaded manually....

Second Trailer for Fast Five
Universal has released a second theatrical trailer for Fast Five. The fifth entry in the Fast and the Furious franchise finds many of the main characters back again and joined by Dwayne Johnson as a federal agent trying to track them down in Rio de Janeiro. Warner Brothers Starts Streaming Movies on Facebook
An announcement today by Warner Brothers signifies the first big step by movie studios to start utilizing Facebook for rentals (as well as potentially sales) of films. Beginning today WB has started streaming The Dark Knight through the social website, with plans to add more movies to the service going forward. Demo for Tiger Woods 12 Now Available
The demo for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters is out now for the Xbox 360 (queue up the download here) and will be coming to the PS3 this afternoon. Featured in the demo are the first five holes at one of the new courses in the game (TPC San Antonio Oaks) which by completing will allow for the Amateur Tour in 'Road to the Masters' mode to be skipped.
