NBA 2K11 Beats All Sports Releases in March
In its sixth month of release NBA 2K11 continued its sales dominance by topping all of the high profile new sports titles that arrived in March. Theatrical Trailer for Cowboys & Aliens
Universal has released the theatrical trailer for the highly anticipated Cowboys & Aliens. The sci-fi western, based on the graphic novel, deals with an alien invasion that forces the opposing sides to come together in an effort to fight them off. The movie stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, and Sam Rockwell and is directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man). Cowboys & Aliens is slated to release on July 29th. EA Sports has tweeted another off-screen image from Madden NFL 12 this time of Eagles quarterback Michael Vick who looks to be on his way to the finals of the cover tournament. Defensive tackle Junior Siavii of the Seahawks and Eagles center Jamaal Jackson are visible as well though blurred out by the depth of field effect. Click here to view it full size....

Madden 12 Images Display New Kick Meter and Cheerleaders
A couple off-screen images of Madden NFL 12 have made their way out on Twitter. One shows off a punt formation and most notably a new kick meter reminiscent of the PS2 days and has been accompanied by some talk of progressive lighting. Trailer for Rise of the Planet of the Apes
The first teaser trailer for the upcoming Rise of the Planet of the Apes has arrived. Acting as a prequel to Planet of the Apes the story takes place in present day and centers on the genetic engineering that led to the ultra-intelligent apes and subsequent war for supremacy. The film stars James Franco and Freida Pinto and is directed by Rupert Wyatt. Rise of the Planet of the Apes is slated to release on August 5th. ...

EA Sports Football GM Talks of Three Year Plan for Madden
Following the colossal failure of NBA Elite last fall EA Sports dismissed the General Manager of their EA Canada studio and repositioned the General Manager of their Tiburon studio (Philip Holt, who is believed to be founding the social gaming company luring Tiburon developers). The restructuring was done to put more focus on individual franchises by creating a GM position for each particular title or sport rather than a single one on the studio level. (more…)...

FIFA Street 4 May Be One of the New EA Sports Titles
It seems it didn't take long for one of the three new titles in the works at EA Sports to get leaked. NXT Gamer has received an image from an online survey that appears to not only confirm the existence of the game but also lay out actual features. File this in the rumor category for now but it appears to be legitimate. What is unknown is whether the survey was intended to research the prospects of making the game or rather set the expectations for it's eventual release if already advancing ...
