    Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis has defeated Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick to earn the honor of Madden NFL 12 cover athlete. In its effort to raise awareness of the game the tournament was a huge success for EA Sports and the unlikely victor makes it an even better story.  (more…)...

    Fox today released the theatrical trailer for X-Men: First Class. The story centers on the early years of Professor X (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) as they develop the Mutant School for Gifted Youngsters. Also included are Emma Frost (January Jones), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon), Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Dr. Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne), Angel Salvadore (Zoe Kravitz) and Havok (Lucas Till).     UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture is currently in talks to sign on for the next UFC Undisputed game. The discussions are ongoing but an agreement has yet to be reached.   • Dynamic Ratings Feature in MLB 2K11 Not Really Working Either

    MLB 2K11 has faced heavy criticism for being riddled with serious bugs and AI issues and after seven weeks a patch hasn't even been delivered in an attempt to address them. Given that we are now just about a full month into the regular season it made sense to check out the "Dynamic Player Ratings" feature that was heralded as the only significant addition to the game this year.     This is an important story to cover given that many of you out there are affected. PSN has been down for nearly a week and finally today Sony admitted that personal data of users has been compromised. Name, address, email, birthday, PSN ID and passwords have all been exposed to whoever it is that perpetrated a hack into their system.     The preparation of a "subscription service" by EA Sports has created widespread discussion throughout gaming communities. Though nothing is official yet the documents and surveys circulating suggest optional value add-ons for a yearly fee ranging from $14.99 to $34.99 are on the way.
