    EA Sports today released the official cover art for Madden 12 and detailed a special edition of the game featuring Marshall Faulk on the cover. The "Hall of Fame Edition" will have a limited run of 125K copies and release on August 30th alongside the standard version of the game. Faulk - the Madden 2003 cover athlete - is being inducted into the Hall of Fame this year.     Recently it was discovered that the web based weekly advancement and 'Super Sim' features for NCAA Football 12 will cost $3 each. Kotaku posted a well thought out article on the topic adding to the heat EA Sports has taken for how they introduced the features and the feeling of many that they are being increasingly nickel and dimed every year.     Miramax has released the full theatrical trailer for the remake of the 1973 made-for-TV movie Don't Be Afraid of the Dark that has been rewritten and overseen by Guillermo Del Toro. Originally announced last year at Comic-Con by Del Toro with a teaser trailer the movie was bumped back due to the pending sale of Miramax by Disney and now has an August 26th release date.     EA Sports has released the full fact sheet for FIFA 12 listing out many of the features that have been revealed officially as well as through the leaked demonstration video.     Those who had the patience to wait over two months for 2K Sports to release a patch for MLB 2K11 that would address many issues including the broken fatigue in franchise mode are now faced with another problem.     One of the big additions to NHL 12 now that the rival 2K series - which had carried the exclusive license - has been completely killed off is the 'Winter Classic'. Unfortunately limited to last year's venue Heinz Field and not the upcoming one to be held at Citizens Bank Park the outdoor setting will still be plenty of fun to play in if this new trailer is any indication.     EA Sports has followed up on the initial announcements of features for NCAA Football 12 with producer blogs that dig deeper into each. Though not containing a wealth of new information they do provide for much more extensive descriptions of what to expect and most contain screenshots related to the features in question. Earlier the 'Coaching Carousel' went under the microscope and now the following blogs complete the detailed write-ups for Dynasty related improvements. Custom Conferences ...
