Russell Crowe May Play Jor-EL in Superman: Man of Steel
According to Variety Russell Crowe is in talks to take on the role of Jor-El in the Superman reboot Man of Steel. Jor-El is father to Kal-El (Superman) and a scientist on the planet Krypton who foresees the planet's fate and saves his son by sending him to Earth.
Crowe would join Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Kevin Costner (Johnathan 'Pa' Kent), and Diane Lane (Martha 'Ma' Kent) as the primary cast members announced so far. The Zack Snyder directed film is ...

Through all the events of last week one piece of news that will impact an upcoming title flew somewhat under the radar. Mark Jackson accepted the job coaching the Golden State Warriors. EA Sports Decides to Stay with Tiger Woods
Despite previous comments to the contrary EA Sports now plans to continue their relationship with Tiger Woods at least for the immediate future which should mean a Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13. It was just late last year that Electronic Arts Chief Executive John Riccitiello basically stated that the company would move on if Woods' performance and stature did not improve.

The Killing Gets Second Season
AMC today announced that its original series The Killing has been renewed for a second season. Based on the Danish series Forbrydelsen the show follows the investigation into a murder and touches on the emotional impact to the family and a political campaign's connections.
