    The opening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 shattered just about every record it possibly could at the box office this weekend. It crushed the midnight record topping Twilight: Eclipse, it had no problem at all taking the first day record from Twilight: New Moon, had the highest grossing Friday ever, and sailed past The Dark Knight for the most coveted domestic record - largest opening weekend in history.     Official sales numbers for June have been released and NBA 2K11 came in 7th place for the month and was the only sports title to appear. Its consistency has been startling, topping the charts when released in October and floating between 4th and 10th ever since. With the NBA season complete, the lockout on, and the release of NCAA Football 12 it seems likely to finally fall out of the top ten in July but that won't at all diminish what it has accomplished.     Universal has released the first trailer for The Thing. A prequel to John Carpenter's 1982 film of the same name the movie stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Joel Edgerton and has a release date set for October 14th. Antarctica: an extraordinary continent of awesome beauty.     With its midnight showings Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 raked in $43.5 million which shatters the previous record holder The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's $30 million from June 2010. Deathly Hallows: Part 2 has already made over $100 million worldwide. The higher prices that comes with 3D screens played a role as Warner Bros. reports all midnight 3D shows were sold out.     Earlier this week I laid out thoughts on MLB Bobblehead Pros in the 'Hits and Misses' review where the mention was made of plans for upcoming DLC packs. The first one of those is now available on the Xbox 360 and goes by the name 'MLB Bobblehead Stars' for 400 MS points ($5). The DLC adds in this year's All Star teams and a Home Run Derby mode.
