    2K Sports has spent a great deal of effort hyping up the improvements to My Player mode for NBA 2K12. While there are a few worthwhile additions there are numerous fundamental flaws that are impossible to ignore. My Player remains one of the better career modes in sports gaming considering what it attempts but the on-court experience is still lacking and the trade logic is beyond troubled marring the overall experience significantly.  (more…)...

    There is no doubt what mode shines this year for NBA 2K12 - not just in concept but also in execution. NBA's Greatest mode delivers some fantastic historic teams in a setting representative of their day.     After releasing in June on iOS Icebreaker Hockey is now available on Android. From NaturalMotion (the makers of Backbreaker/NFL Rivals) comes Icebreaker - the goal of the game is to skate away from oncoming defenders and score while gaining points for doing so in style.   • Qwikster Already Dead – Netflix No Longer Plans to Split into Two Companies

    Last month Netflix announced that it's DVD-by-mail rental service would be spinning off into its own company to be known as Qwikster, while its streaming service would remain under the Netflix name. They were to be operated completely separately even having their own websites and subscriptions would be independent from each other. A fictionalized account of Edgar Allen Poe's final days the story centers on him joining forces with a Baltimore detective to hunt down a serial killer who's using Poe's works as the basis in a string of brutal murders.
