Post-Release Support From EA Sports Slows With Madden NFL 12
Madden NFL 12 is coming upon its 16th week since releasing at the end of August. Though word of mouth has been relatively strong - leading to a better hold in sales - one area of disappointment has been post-release support in the way of patches and 'tuners'. That is no better demonstrated than by comparing the patches that came for Madden NFL 11 vs 12 and the lack of communication regarding any current plans for future support of the title. (more…)...

NFL Blitz Rosters: NFC North and East
ESPN has started to reveal the rosters for EA Sports' reboot of NFL Blitz which is set to release on January 4th. The first two divisions to roll out are the NFC East and NFC North. Each team gets seven players on both offense and defense along with a kicker and punter. Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol Review
Dormant since the third entry in the series arrived in 2006 - that one helmed by J.J. Abrams garnered good audience and critical response - Mission: Impossible returns and with rookie live-action director Brad Bird of Pixar fame. What materializes is arguably the best of the franchise delivering some tremendous action sequences coupled with a credible story that elevates it beyond just being a series of incredibly impressive set pieces. (more…)...

Fifth Roster Update for NBA 2K12 Out Now
Roster update #5 for NBA 2K12 comes in as many days as 2K Sports continues to introduce rookies and make changes due to free agent signings and trades. Of note is Jamal Crawford joining the Blazers, Richard Hamilton heading to the Bulls, Josh Howard signing with the Jazz, and Baron Davis being removed from the Cavs. The latest rookies are Norris Cole, JaJuan Johnson, and Jimmy Butler. FIFA Soccer for PlayStation Vita Trailer
EA Sports has released a trailer for the PlayStation Vita version of FIFA Soccer (or FIFA Football as it will be known overseas). The upcoming handheld system is slated to arrive on February 22nd in North America with FIFA as one of the release titles. The first trailer for The Expendables 2 arrived today. The sequel to the 2010 ensemble action film that grossed over $100 domestically and nearly $300 million worldwide is set to open on August 17th 2012. Madden NFL 12 Roster Update #16 Details
The post-week 14 roster update for Madden NFL 12 is scheduled to go out tomorrow for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. The update enacts a few significant injuries including the loss of DeMarco Murray and Jim Leonhard for the year while Greg Jennings will probably sit until the playoffs. The daily roster updates for NBA 2K12 that began on Monday, in an effort to catch up on rookie signings and other transactions, continue by this morning delivering the big trade that went down last night between the Clippers and Hornets.
