Any review of MLB 12: The Show is going to be quite similar to those done for past iterations of the series. There's a consistency to what The Show does well - just as there is with where it tends to falter. The Lakers and Blazers were especially active and a big three team deal involving the Nuggets, Wizards, and Clippers was pulled off. The...

Generally that first step, which comes after rolling out cover related campaigns, prompts discussion and begins to ramp up anticipation towards the coming product. What has become clear in this case is EA will be facing an uphill battle to re-gain consumer confidence after the troubled NCAA 12 release and the weeks that followed in which they did a poor job of communicating and addressing concerns.  (mo...

As always the first day of the new NFL league year was a frantic and exciting one as free agency opened and a big trade was completed. Brandon Marshall becomes the first Madden NFL 13 cover athlete candidate to change teams during the voting period as he got moved to the Bears. The Bucs made the most significant signings grabbing two of the top players on the market and despite having their salary cap slashed the Redskins made a splash by picking up two receivers and working on a third.  ...

The round of dual team representatives in the Madden NFL 13 cover tournament continues with results being compiled until and then announced later on March 21. I've applied unofficial seedings from 1-64 based on cover worthiness and potential to win the tournament.
