    The first trailer for Oliver Stone's Savages has arrived. The film is based on the novel of the same name and stars Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Johnson, Blake Lively, and a number of big names in smaller parts. Savages is slated to release on July 6.     The first trailer for the stoner comedy High School has arrived. The film, which has been in the can since 2010 and was screened at Sundance to largely positive reaction, stars Adrien Brody. High School is set to release on June 1. A high school valedictorian who gets baked with the local stoner finds himself the subject of a drug test.     Now into April with the baseball season fully underway many consumers have begun to ask why the first patch for MLB 12: The Show has yet to arrive. It's an understandable question considering the rate at which patches have been delivered for The Show in recent years. SCEA has yet to comment on plans for post-release support and have been careful to avoid even stating that a patch is being worked on.     It wasn't completely unexpected that MLB Today Season mode in MLB 2K12 wouldn't be running properly right off the bat. The MLB 2K series has a history of poorly implemented or completely non-functioning features. So there was little surprise when last week MLB Today Season wasn't working when the season opened with the Mariners vs A's series in Japan.  (more…)...

    Universal plans to reboot The Mummy with screenwriter Jon Spaihts helming the project. The Mummy as a franchise began way back in 1932 and had four sequels - the studio then brought it back with the 1999 update that starred Brendan Fraser. Altogether the recent Mummy series - which includes the first in 1999, sequel in 2001, and third entry in 2008 - made over $1.2 billion worldwide at the box office.
