EA Sports has released a video featuring some intro and gameplay footage of Madden NFL 13 with commentary from the new team of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms. This represents the first opportunity to hear the duo calling the game action in Madden. First impression isn't all that encouraging with many flat and uninspired moments and generic calls - despite that of course it's still an improvement over the terrible commentary found in Madden 12. Crowd noise doesn't come through all that well in t...

When the first visuals from Madden NFL 13 arrived feedback on the new score bug started rolling in and for all the wrong reasons. I was immediately struck by how cheesy it looked and many similar feelings were expressed in responses and within the community. EA Sports today sent out a look at the score bug as it stands now which has been completely revamped marking drastic improvement. The above image shows the previous version and below the new one. The redesigned score bug is muc...

Jon Favreau (Iron Man) also produces and actually directed the pilot which was written by Eric Kripke (Supernatural). The series takes place in a future where energy has ceased to exist and has the feel of a mix between Lost and Jericho. Revolution is currently set to air on Monday nights at 10pm - a start date in the fall has yet to be ...
