    As the wait for the "monumental change to gameplay" being announced on June 4 for Madden NFL 13 continues EA Sports turned their attention to promoting the enhancements to audio. The new commentary team of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms is joined by a number of authentic QB cadences and real on-field sounds provided by NFL Films, crown noise improvements, and an original soundtrack produced entirely in-house.  (more…)...

    Momentum for NCAA Football 13 began building with the gameplay and presentation news and continued through the improvements coming to Dynasty mode. It may have been halted - and possibly the perception of the product even having regressed to an extent - by the release of the first gameplay videos.     After a lengthy delay due to MGM's financial troubles and potential sale the 23rd James Bond installment - titled Skyfall - got off the ground towards a release now slated for November 9. The film is being directed by Sam Mendes, returns Daniel Craig in the lead role, and introduces Javier Bardem as the main villain.     Paramount has released two teaser trailers - there could be more to come based on the manner in which they are presented - for Anchorman 2. Given that the film hasn't even been written yet, let alone filming started, these were put together for the purpose of building even more early buzz for the sequel and feature Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, and David Koechner reprising their Channel 4 News Team characters.   • The Quarterbacks with Authentic Cadences in Madden NFL 13

    EA Sports has revealed most of the quarterbacks that will have their authentic cadences included in Madden NFL 13. A partnership with NFL Films allowed the company to grab the audio for a number of QBs and implement their actual voices in the game. There will be 14 of them featured - 12 of which are currently known. For various reasons other QBs didn't make the cut in having their voices included in the game.  (more…)...

    Fans of the low-rated but much loved comedy series Community were excited by its recent pickup for a fourth season even though it was only a 13 episode order. At this point it's hard to criticize NBC given that the network has stuck by it when it would've been a justifiable cancellation at any point in its run.
