One of the more intriguing developments out of E3 came with the announcement of Xbox SmartGlass at the Microsoft press conference. NBA 2K13 Image Suggests Three Current Stars Involved with Cover
Based on the completed image that 2K Sports is only still gradually revealing but has been sent my way the NBA 2K13 cover will feature Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant, and Derrick Rose. It's unclear whether the three will share a single cover or if there will be a variety of covers as was the case with 2K12 (Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird). Claude Giroux Wins NHL 13 Cover Tourney
Though it stretched on in tedious fashion for nearly three months the cover campaign for NHL 13 collected over 25 million votes by the time it was completed. The announcement of the winner came this evening as Philadelphia Flyers forward Claude Giroux came out on top to become the NHL 13 cover athlete - defeating Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne in the finals. 2K Sports today announced the "Uncover the Cover" campaign for NBA 2K13. Clues to who will be on the cover are hidden and later revealed through this Facebook app. Tiles from the current image will be lifted exposing the clues and eventual cover art when certain benchmarks have been reached in the number of tweets posted using the hashtag #uncovernba2k.
