Madden NFL 13 Week Three Upcoming Roster Update Discussion

NBA 2K13 Demo Now Available
The demo for NBA 2K13 is out now on the Xbox 360 (can be queued up for download here) and as of this afternoon arrived on the PS3 as well. 2K Sports has chosen to make this an especially intriguing demo by including head-to-head online play. While that's not a first - Fight Night Champion had an online demo and UFC 3 had an online beta - it could prove to be beneficial for the series' traditionally troubled online experience by getting a head start on its coming release week. Huge Limited Time Deal on Madden NFL 13
Amazon today, as the "deal of the day", is offering Madden NFL 13 for just $40 on the 360 and PS3. Only a month has passed since it released so being able get it at that price so early on is out of the ordinary. The deal exceeds the $15 promo credit that came with pre-orders and typically wouldn't be found at such a pricing level until Black Friday in November with the exception of occasional rare promotions like this one. Trailer for 42
The first trailer for the film that is centered on Jackie Robinson's life, 42, has arrived. The movie is written and directed by Brian Helgeland (LA Confidential, A Knight's Tale) and stars Harrison Ford as the Dodgers executive behind the signing of Robinson who is played by Chadwick Boseman. 42 is slated to release on April 12, 2013. 2012 Emmy Award Winners
It was a big night for Showtime as freshman series Homeland took all the major drama awards. Though the show was expected to do well, with Claire Danes a lock for Best Actress, it was a bit of a surprise that it also won Best Drama, Actor, and Writing. In the comedy categories no surprises for the most part as Modern Family cleaned up.
