    Microsoft is currently considering a return for the NBC series Heroes which ran for four seasons from 2006-2010.     Amazon may look to launch a content-streaming box late this year according to BusinessWeek. It would be competing with other established products which offer a wide array of options including Roku, Apple TV, Xbox 360, PS3, and the next consoles from Microsoft and Sony due out by the holidays.     E3 is now just about six weeks away and companies are beginning to make their plans known. Electronic Arts will be out in full force with the usual press conference on Monday, June 10 at 1PT and on the show floor with sports games including Madden NFL 25, NCAA Football 14, FIFA 14, and NHL 14 (no mention yet of NBA Live 14 or UFC). Two other companies though are approaching things differently this year. 2K Games won't have any presence on the show floor which is a departure from the norm....

    Earlier this month the first pre-order bonus for Madden NFL 25 was spotted and that was followed by another which implied there will be a form of Owner mode added to Connected Franchise (formerly Connected Careers).     Though to a lesser extent than last year - when they created nearly 40 rookies during the NFL Draft and dropped them into Madden Ultimate Team - EA Sports has created 10 from the 2013 class and added them to packs in Madden NFL 13.     Confirmation has come down from EA Sports to Gamezone via The Gaming Tailgate that NCAA Football 14 will not include the new College Football Playoff scheduled to begin with the 2014-15 season. This was fully expected to be the case but there were still many who wondered if it might be in for the second year and beyond within Dynasty mode.     A minor new roster update for NBA 2K13 arrived today affecting some of the playoff teams. While injuries to Steve Blake, Steve Nash, and Jodie Meeks were not reflected David Lee (-5 to 79) has taken on his season-ender. Pablo Prigioni (63), Jordan Hill (70), and Kenneth Faried (80) return to active status. Jeff Green (+1 to 79) and Gary Neal (+6 to 67) were the only players to receive changes to ratings in this update....
