Universal Plans Reboot of Timecop
A reboot of Timecop is now in development at Universal. The original from 1994 starring Jean-Claude Van Damme went on to make over $100 million worldwide and led to a television spin-off and straight-to-DVD sequel.
Timecop was based on a comic set in the future with law enforcement regulating time travel and one officer who attempts to bring down a politician using it for his own gain. The reboot will not involve Van Damme. Universal is now seeking writers for the project....
