    A funny thing happened when the NCAA made public the decision to no longer support video games with official branding - individual institutions who had stayed out of the fray took note that their own exposure to potential litigation was something to consider going forward.     Last month it was confirmed that the mobile version of FIFA 14 would be coming to Android in addition to iOS. Feature wise the controls are being altered again for FIFA 14 with dragging on the screen to move players, swiping the ball towards the goal to shoot, and tapping on players to pass to them.   • Six Current College Football Players Added as Plaintiffs to Likeness Lawsuit

    With the judge requiring current athletes get involved now in order to consider them as a party should the player likeness lawsuit be certified as class action attorneys today revealed the names of those that will now be added to the case bringing the total number of plaintiffs to 22 - 16 former athletes and 6 current ones.  (more…)...

    EA Sports today went further into detail on "bounceTEK" which was one of the primary features announced and demonstrated for NBA Live 14 back at E3. The company has even provided a few video examples of how the dribbling system will enhance the game.  (more…)...

    The nominations for the upcoming Emmy Awards were announced earlier today and to no surprise HBO leads the way with 108 of them. Another big winner is Netflix whose original series were recognized in a manner that some were unsure they would be. House of Cards comes away with nine nominations including Best Drama and Best Lead Actor and Actress, while Arrested Development and Hemlock Grove combined for five more.
