The return of the NHL 2K series is here but it's only for mobile devices. It went out today for iOS through iTunes and Android through Google Play. 2K continues to offer mobile games with premium prices rather than go the free-to-play route as NHL 2K comes in at $8. ♦My Career: Control one player and earn skill points to build up ratings over multiple seasons. ♦Mini Rink: Fast-paced arcade style 3 on 3 gameplay mode. ♦Shootout: Turn-based multiplayer penalty shootout u...
  • NBA Live 15 Day One EA Access Live Stream

EA Sports has largely shielded consumers from NBA Live 15 and their motivations for doing so have been questioned. This is especially notable coming off four years of failure and promises to change that have been broken time and time again. When the company announced the EA Access subscription service back in July they backed themselves into a corner where they could no longer hide games they may not be all that confident in all the way through release. Now everyone who has an Xbox One...

NBA Live 15 through EA Access on Xbox One is out now to download as a timed trial. Subscribers to the service will get six hours of play time before it expires with the timer ticking down whenever the game is loaded regardless of whether it is being played, menus are being navigated through, or if there is any activity taking place at all. So make sure to exit out and close the application from the Xbox One home screen when not in use. The six hours are there to play whether its all us...

The first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron leaked early today and in response Marvel officially released it - they had planned its debut to be during next week's Agents of SHIELD episode. The studio cleverly capitalized on the situation by, fittingly, blaming Hydra. Avengers: Age of Ultron is slated to release May 1, 2015. Dammit, Hydra.— Marvel Entertainment (@Marvel) October 22, 2014 Marvel Studios presents "Avengers: Age of Ultron," the epic follow-up to the biggest Super H...

Expected out soon for the Xbox One and PS4, and already available for those on PC, the first patch for NBA 2K15 attempts to address some issues discovered since release of the game. After initially only mentioning that there would be a fix for people getting booted out of MyPark 2K Sports has now released a list of what else to expect from the update. Given the timing it's no surprise that the patch is essentially just implementing some quick fixes for mostly minor bugs rather than making...
  • Six Hour NBA Live 15 Stream Tomorrow

EA Sports may have avoided showing gameplay for NBA Live 15 but their commitment to the EA Access program means they couldn't hide the game completely. Tomorrow I'll be holding a live stream of NBA Live 15 running through the entirety of the six hours and in the process will have hopefully shown off sufficient gameplay and most of the modes. Last year hundreds of people joined me in experiencing NBA Live 14 in a live stream that went on for over six hours. What would have been torturous o...

Two games received feature updates today and those are talked about in this episode of The Daily Dish. Also previewed is the NBA Live 15 live stream which I plan to push through all six hours on Thursday, a recap of the latest Press Row Hangout, and a look ahead to Friday's new Press Row Podcast.
