    SCEA today released a brand new teaser trailer for MLB 15: The Show. There isn't anything new to learn about MLB 15 from the trailer with the intention instead to portray the ambiance of the game in its attempt to replicate the sport and some of the emotion within.   • NBA Live 15 Appears Headed to the EA Access Vault Soon

    In December EA Sports UFC was added to the Vault within the EA Access subscription service. Based on an image hosted on Xbox.com advertising "featured games" it looks as though NBA Live 15 will be next. EA Access is the subscription service that is currently exclusive to Xbox One as Sony opted not to allow it for the PS4. It’s $30 for a full year or $5 month-to-month.     Earlier this week SCEA released additional information on the licensed equipment, profile rewards, and legends coming to MLB 15: The Show.     Back in December a poll was posted to gauge interest in the features announced at the time for MLB 15: The Show. The option that received by far the weakest support - only 2% of the vote - was the addition of 30 "legends" to the game. Limiting it to one representative from each franchise meant there would probably be some level of dissatisfaction about who was selected. In future years when more are added that should subside.     A new developer blog went up today for Out of the Park Baseball 16 that goes over Manager-Only Mode which is one of the new features for the game. It's one of three new ways to play the game along with GM-Only and GM+Manager. OOTP 16...adds a Manager-Only mode that lets you focus on whipping the players into shape while your GM deals with prima donnas who demand contract extensions, trades a hapless overachiever in his contract year for a couple prospects, and handles all those other things...

    Though it doesn't have a following in North America there is one sports game due out this month. Rugby 15 is set to release February 24 on PS4, Xbox One, and PS3. Amazon has it listed for $50 (PS4/XB1) and $40 (PS3) but is also including a $10 promotional credit with pre-orders.     SCEA today released a new look at licensed equipment, Universal Rewards, and legends that will be included for the first time in MLB 15: The Show. The video includes a flash of the 30 legends that will be featured in in the game following the preview of the different licensed equipment and new items that can be earned for Universal Profiles for use in various modes.  (more…)...

    With SCEA having expanded upon the announced features for MLB 15: The Show with a complete list, and having hosted the first live stream for the game, a poll was posted last week to gauge levels of interest in the improvements and additions that have been detailed to date.
