    The first patch for NBA 2K16 arrived today on PlayStation 4 and is expected on Xbox One soon. The update's focus is heavily on getting the 2K Pro-Am to work. The mode had been largely broken since the game released nearly three weeks ago.     Three months have now passed since Rory McIlroy PGA Tour released and to this point EA Sports has only added a single course to the game. The company has not abandoned it however, and now they've detailed plans for free content they'll be adding in the months ahead: two golfers, a handful of courses, and new ways to play.  (more…)...

    Rocket League has proven to be an extraordinary success story. One of the best games of the year - something many people were able to get for free - has continued on its unprecedented roll by releasing regular downloadable content.     While the big deals won't come around until Black Friday in late November, there are already a few opportunities to grab games that are only a matter of weeks old at considerable discounts. Amazon has several for well under the $60 they were not too long ago and a promotion at Toys "R" Us is worth considering if in the market for more than one EA Sports game.     The roster update following week four of the season for Madden NFL 16 is available now on all platforms. Von Miller is the big winner this week having reached ultra-elite status. He's now rated 99 Overall and joins Aaron Rodgers, Marshal Yanda, J.J. Watt, and Rob Gronkowski in that group. Check out all the details of the roster update with the spreadsheet here.     Four years ago there was an epidemic of account thievery related to the FIFA series and its Ultimate Team mode. Many described it at the time as "hackings" but really it was social engineering and a major failure in EA's customer service where inexperienced reps transferred accounts without properly verifying ownership.
