2K Sports has released another batch of screenshots for APF 2K8. Click the thumbnails below for the full size images. For the most part these look a little better than the first ones that were released yesterday. The best one is the action shot of the RB however with the blurred background it allows for the enhancement of what is seen up close. I also feel that the one showing the the action around the pocket looks better than the rest. Viewing actual gameplay fo...

The first video for APF 2K8 will air on Spike TV at 1am Friday night the 8th (technically Saturday morning the 9th). It will then hit the gametrailers.com site a half hour later. I think most people would agree that the most important thing in terms of visuals is how it looks while the game is in play. Regardless of the disappointing screenshots in the end that will be what matters once you've got the game in. Screenshots are never the best way to judge a game. It will be interesting t...
  • New group of All-Pro Football 2K8 screenshots

IGN has posted a set of screens for APF 2K8. And to most I'd imagine they will be considered a disappointment. Check them out here. So there is now no question that the edge in graphics goes to Madden. I'd have to say that it even surprises me how poor these look and I didn't have high expectations. Take a look at the crowd and the grass. That is next-generation? The giant bird is beyond ridiculous. Its wings represent the retractable roof, but why is the roof closed to when there is cl...

With the recent news from EA that they are shooting for Fifa 2010 to have the ability online of 11 individuals vs 11 individuals, it brings up whether that is the directon they may be headed in other games such as Madden or NBA Live. Modes such as Superstar in Madden, Race for the Hesiman/Campus Legend in NCAA Football and the new Be a Pro in Fifa have started to get the fan of sports games conditioned to taking on the role of a single player. Can that be the start of the transition to seein...

Teamxbox has posted up over 150 new screens of the stadiums from NCAA Football 08. Not every stadium is displayed however as Florida, Alabama, and Oregon (among possibly some others) seem to be missing from the group. The environments surrounding the stadiums are what impresses me the most with these. Check out the images by clicking here....

EA Sports has released four new screens from Madden 08. Click the thumbnails below to see them full size. Interestingly enough Barry Sanders and Walter Payton are featured here, showing that 2K didn't end up with exclusive contracts with at least some of the legends (maybe not any) when they signed them for All-Pro Football 2K8. The other two show the spectacular and sideline catches off. ...
