Media sites getting time with All-Pro Football 2K8
Still with only a marginal amount to go on and only a month away from the (supposed) release date, All-Pro Football 2K8 will get a chance to change the unenthusiastic atmosphere around the game when they showcase it to media sites. New NCAA Football 08 comparison videos
EA has released new videos for NCAA Football 08 that compare the game to the 07 version. In total there are four new videos featuring a showcase of the differences in player models, DB AI, dynamic running, and AI awareness. There are also videos that display the new Hitstick 2.0 and gang tackling. You can check them out in the video section of the official website. 2K may have sparked more controversy to come
The first questionable decision from 2K Sports that was sure to cause debate was the inclusion of OJ Simpson in the game. Named rosters will not appear online for NCAA Football 08
**Edit 6/14: Update on the issue. Names will display in online games. One of the more disappointing things to come out of the NCAA Football Community Day is the confirmation that edited roster names will not appear in online games on the Xbox 360 and PS3. This means for the people who manually edit the player names or import a full roster file, those will only be applicable for offline games. I've been talking about many of the issues surrounding APF 2K8 for a while, and been taking some flack for it from 2K fans. Demo coming for NCAA Football 08
One piece of news coming out of the NCAA Football Community Day was that a demo for the game is being worked on and planned for release in early July. It will be available for both the 360 and the PS3. Hopefully the demo this year will offer a better experience than they had last year for the 360.
