Co-Op confirmed for Madden 08
I have received word from EA Sports that offline co-op (2 vs 2) is going to be included in Madden 08. Having this settled should ease the concern that it would not be in again this year. There is no form of co-op in NCAA Football 08 and that disappointed some people who look forward to the chance to play alongside a friend on the same team. New running back screenshots from Madden 08
EA Sports has released six new screens from Madden 08. Two feature Jets RB Thomas Jones and four are of Lions RB Tatum Bell. NCAA Football 08 features tutorial video
The flood of videos for the EA football titles continue from Gametrailers. This one spotlights the new features in NCAA Football 08 with the game's tutorial on the subject. The ability to upload screenshots and clips is one of the biggest non-gameplay addition to a sports game for me in a while. I'm extremely excited about it and can't wait to get into that. Upcoming NBA Live 08 community day
Next week I will be headed out to New York for the NBA Live community event. Amongst other festivities (such as attending the NBA Draft) I will get to spend some a good amount of time playing NBA Live 08. This is a pretty unique opportunity to get significant time in with the game this early in the development cycle. Producer blog highlighting player specific celebrations
Danny Doeberling, one of Madden's gameplay producers, has posted up a new blog featuring a look at the process behind creating the new player specific celebrations that you'll be seeing in Madden 08.
