NBA Live 08 Community Event Wrap-up
EA has posted up a summary of the NBA Live community event from the end of June to the official website for NBA Live 08. It was a fun experience, but most importantly gave a good look into the game which definitely seems to be on its way back. NCAA Football 08 online play falling short again
Once again the area of online play in an EA Sports title is failing. Granted this is right at and around release time and the problems could still very well be fixed. I have been told they are being looked into. However that is not a sufficient excuse for having a poor online play experience for everyone around the release time frame. NBA Live 08 to run at 60fps on both the 360 and PS3
Amidst all the discussion regarding the differences in framerate between the 360 and PS3 versions of Madden 08, NCAA Football 08, and All-Pro Football 2K8 (360=60fps, PS3=30fps) brings news regarding NBA Live 08. *Edit: Since this posting NHL 08 has also been confirmed to be 60fps on the 360 but only 30fps on the PS3. Madden 08 on the PS3 confirmed to be 30fps
***UPDATE: EA has confirmed to myself and several others that the PS3 version of Madden will be running at 30fps. This was done in response to the rumor that it would be at 60fps which turns out to have been a miscommunication. In what seems like ages ago, 2K Sports signing OJ Simpson to be in All-Pro Football 2K8 was the hot topic. Achievements for Madden 08 revealed
The list of Xbox 360 achievements for Madden 08 has made its way out. It isn't a real exciting list. Although I'm not sure what there could be for Madden to get me excited about its achievements. There are no online related ones which is disappointing. Actually there are no mode specific achievements, they all appear to be gameplay related.
