MLB 2K8 demo impressions
Vetzballin had an opportunity to play a demo version of MLB 2K8 and has posted up some initial impressions and info about the game. FIFA Street 3 demo impressions and video
Going in to playing the demo, which came out for the 360 and PS3 earlier today, I didn't really know what I would think of it. I've taken a liking to the games on the "arcade" side more over the past few years enjoying those such as NBA Street, The BIGS, and NFL Tour. However I'm not a soccer fan and don't relate to or recognize the majority of the players so would that make the game less enjoyable? I really like the visual style of the game. First Prizefighter screenshots
10 screens from Don King Presents: Prizefighter have been released providing the first look at the new game. They come from the Xbox 360 version (the Wii and DS will also be seeing the game). FIFA Street 3 demo out now
The demo for FIFA Street 3 has made it to the Xbox 360 Marketplace. It has since been released for the PS3 as well. The demo features Brazil vs England in a five minute match at Samba arena and it comes in at a slim 292.48 MB. Even more videos from MLB 08: The Show
The blitz is on with media from MLB 08: The Show. Earlier IGN released a few short gameplay clips. Now both gametrailers and gamevideos have posted footage of their own. GV has Yankees vs Red Sox, while GT has the same NY-BOS matchup in one and a second features Braves vs Mets. They run from a little over a minute up to 2 1/2 minutes long. Is the loss of College Hoops a sign of things to come?
Now that we know College Hoops 2K9 has been canceled, and that it didn't have anything to do with exclusive license negotiation, it would make sense to look at the other titles in 2K Sports' lineup. Relatively low sales, alarming lack of growth and potential, and the troubled status of Take Two appears to have led to the decision that the College Hoops series was expendable. MLB 08: The Show gameplay videos and screenshots
IGN has posted up a new set of screenshots (some of which are menu screens) as well as three gameplay videos from MLB 08: The Show (PS3). The gameplay screenshots definitely don't have the same crisp look to them as the others that have been released and it may be that they weren't captured in HD.
