    When the first of the new 'Events' in MLB The Show 17's Diamond Dynasty mode rolled out earlier this month it was met by heavy criticism both for its structure and initial delay from the advertised start date.   • Next Forza Horizon 3 expansion is Hot Wheels

    Hot Wheels recently made a first appearance through Rocket League and now the brand is moving into another popular racing-based series. The next expansion for Forza Horizon 3 - which follows the terrific Blizzard Mountain - will involve six new themed mountains connected by Hot Wheels tracks along with 10 total new cars.   • Release date set for The Golf Club 2 and new trailer puts Course Creator in spotlight

    Though announced nearly a year ago it wasn't until today that the sequel to 2014's The Golf Club got an official release date. The Golf Club 2 will go out Tuesday, June 27 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.     When the original creators of the Burnout series opened their own studio the first effort was a destruction-based game set within various environments using a golf club and ball - having taken inspiration from the popular 'Crash Mode' of the Burnout days.     While a patch was quickly released for MLB The Show 17 two weeks ago it only affected a couple issues related to online play and corrected the Tigers road uniforms. The latest patch, which went out this morning, impacts a whole lot more. Among the most notable changes are a reduction to opposite field power, improvements to the catcher's blocking ability, and a fix for the CPU pulling starting pitchers too early. (more…)...

    Over the years features for upcoming EA Sports games have sometimes leaked through consumer surveys distributed with the intention of gauging reception to certain ideas and then assessing respective priorities.
